Needlepoint Stretcher Bars – Lightweight, Strong & Reusable

Keep your needlepoint canvas taut and square with lightweight, reusable PETG stretcher bars from FlexiMotionUFB. Secure interlocking corners create a stable frame, smooth edges help protect your canvas and threads, and embossed sizes make each bar easy to identify.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Each individual size selection includes TWO matching stretcher bars in your chosen length.

A complete frame requires FOUR bars:

• Square frame: Order two sets of the same length.
• Rectangular frame: Order one set of each required length.

Example: One set of 10″ bars plus one set of 12″ bars gives you four bars to assemble a rectangular frame.

ASSEMBLY

Fit all four bars together and fully seat each corner joint, leaving no visible gaps.

The joints are intentionally snug. If needed, use light, controlled taps with a small rubber mallet. Support the opposite end of the bar while tapping to avoid bending stress. Never force, twist, or bend the interlocking ends.

ATTACHING YOUR CANVAS

Once the frame is assembled, position your needlepoint canvas over it and secure with suitable needlepoint tacks.

• Insert tacks straight into the bars rather than at an angle.
• Keep tacks away from the interlocking corner joints.
• Space tacks evenly.
• Gradually tension the canvas around all four sides instead of fully tightening one side first.

COMPATIBILITY

These bars are designed to connect with FlexiMotionUFB stretcher bars only. They are not designed to interlock with traditional wooden bars or other manufacturers’ printed bars.

DISASSEMBLY AND CARE

Carefully separate the joints in the direction they interlock. Avoid twisting or pulling them sideways. Gentle rubber-mallet taps may help release a snug joint.

Store bars flat. Avoid excessive bending, prolonged heat, hot vehicles, and placement near heaters.

MATERIAL AND FINISH

Each bar is individually 3D printed in PETG, selected for its toughness, durability, and light weight.

Minor layer lines and variations in surface texture are normal characteristics of 3D printing.
